“We have now stayed here twice! We love the location, the staff, and the rooms. However this time I was disappointed that the room smelled of stale cigarettes! We kept the windows open and that helped! New cart would be amazing to help with this!”

“It is situated in an adorable little town. The room was nice and the bathroom awesome. There was no tv in the room, which was a little different. We could not figure out how to work the thermostat. Two "issues" that we had: 1. The second night the bar was very loud and we were the first room from the bar. There were also doors slamming everywhere. 2. It was advertised as getting a bottle of wine for each night stayed there. This we had to ask for and then they needed to verify.”

“Loved the view of Box Canyon. Quiet area. Easy to find. Staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Fresh fruit good. Parking got a little full, but always got a spot.”

“Cool, quirky, unique and fun! Our experience with the Retro Inn was super! We loved the room themes and was lucky to stay in the Elvis room. Rooms were very clean and had newer good quality mattresses and linens. Friendly and helpful staff with good dining out recommendations. Close to downtown and short drive to Mesa Verde park entrance.”
