"The rooms were kept very clean, and the staff is excellent. They are very knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to give a recommendation. Your location in Praca Velha is perfect. It is right in the middle of all the Christmas events. The garden behind the hotel is quite lovely and a great place to spend some time reading a book in nature. My wife and I appreciated the fact that we were within walking distance of so many things (Cultural Centre, Library, Museum, restaurants and pubs). This hotel is quite a gem."

"Easy walk to two grocery stores and to Padaria Delia Martins (yum) and the excellent butcher (talho) next door. We enjoyed the longer walk down to the water as well; just be alert as to cars. Had a nice visit to the winery and a lovely dinner at Mar e Vinhos. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood after long days of hiking and sightseeing. The hosts were friendly and helpful. "

The highlight, though, was the breathtaking sea view. Waking up to the sound of birds and looking out over the ocean every morning was pure bliss.The garden was peaceful and full of life, with tropical plants, flowers, and even a banana tree that made the whole experience feel like a private retreat. It was the perfect place to relax with a book or enjoy a cup of coffee while listening to nature.We were kindly allowed to check in early and check out late, which made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and offered us a variety of local activities to book — from boat rides to hiking and more. Everything was well organized, and they were always available for any questions.We can’t recommend this place enough.
