“We had a great time in Monte Rio. This house is in a great location, is well appointed and very comfortable. We loved that it had a sauna and hot tub. We also loved the backyard; very private and nicely landscaped. I highly recommend it!”

“My family enjoyed the property as it was big enough for everyone and pet friendly. We stayed during the rainy months and enjoyed playing games and cuddling up near the fire place. I strongly caution the very steep driveway. If you have a four wheel drive, that is preferred especially if it is wet out. Otherwise good accommodations.”

“We loved the home in the woods. Although it rained all three days of our early March visit, the home was clean, spacious and cozily warm. We enjoyed the gas fire place and had fun playing games on the big dining room table. The house was a short drive to town where we found excellent restaurants and interesting shops for browsing. We'd like to return in the summer to lounge on the decks and walk in the woods.”

“This river side home was perfect for a few rainy days away during the holiday break with the family. It would be great during summer with it being right across the street from the Russian River. Our teens loved hanging out in the basement game room. Beds were comfortable and the wood for the stove was well stocked (once we found the kindling). Only small complaint were that the appliances are a little outdated but really we had everything we needed.”

“We had a nice time staying at Foxwood for a second time. We stayed last July. This house is cozy & has a great location close to River, beach , guernville, redwoods etc… it’s well equipped with comfortable beds, good lighting, games, it was nice soaking in hot tub after a long day of hiking. And we also enjoyed doing puzzles & board games on a rainy Friday. We will return again. The only thing we would recommend is that the kitchen could use a set of measuring cups & a sheet pan, griddle pan for……

“The house is very nice but located on a very narrow street with difficult parking. We had two larger cars. Parking is a narrow platform and turning radius was a challenge to say the least. The property description should include this information. We would not have stayed here if we had known. Nothing wrong with the house, just would have appreciated knowing about the parking challenge in advance since we had two vans. Also, the beds were a bit too soft.”

“The Villa and location are absolutely stunning! The pictures are accurate, but do not do the property justice. It is a breath-taking view! Everything from the booking process to checking in was very easy. Randy was very polite, responsive, and accommodating with all of my questions and request. It was raining when we arrived, and Randy grabbed umbrellas for our whole group to do the property tour. No details were overlooked at this property. Chef Tiffany F. came to the house and prepared……

“This bungalow is adorable and comfortable! The bed is really cozy and the fenced in yard was perfect for our bigger dogs. Great location, close to beaches and fun and Pamala was helpful and super fun to chat with. We will definitely be back!”
