“Great stay! Well liked by all! I would definitely book this place again. I do suggest a few things….1) more choices of pans such as a bigger pot (spaghetti), 2) darker curtains/shades in the front bedrooms, 3) some kind of signage at the stone driveway directing up to the house (there’s a story to this one), 4) knowing guests are arriving, maybe have a front porch light on and an inside light on and have the temp in the house set better than 53 degrees, and 5) a better check out procedure flyer……

“We had a great stay. Cris is a wonderful host. The accomodations are clean and well equipped. This was our second stay. My teen and I were visiting the area for college tours. Visited Ithaca and traveled to Geneseo on our way home. Thanks again Cris for a wonderful stay. A very different environment in the Fall versus the Summer but still just great.”

“My friends had a wonderful stay in this cabin! They were thrilled to be “roughing it” in complete comfort! We loved the counter space in the kitchen for organizing all our snacks! “This was a last minute booking due to another rental not having heat. The host did meet us upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise. She communicated quickly and clearly. The place was clean and cozy. It is in a basement so the ceiling is low. I’m 6’3” and I was always stooped over. We were the host’s first guests. We could have used 1 more towel and the kitchen could use some dinnerware and silverware as well as some coffee filters for the coffee machine. The bathroom is a bit small but……

“If you want a secluded place, then this place is for you. Not too far from things to do however far enough off the beaten path that you are secluded. The place is exactly how described. The bathroom is on the little side however that is the only thing you can even complain about. The host is amazing and will answer you right away with any questions you have.”
