“Beautiful place along Lake Erie. Love that it's in the water. Fun bar next door. Lots of places to walk or benches/swings to sit and enjoy the views. The sunset in the swimming cove was lovely. Nickel Beach down the road was nice ($7 parking) and cleaner than the beach by the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in Sandusky which is 11 minutes away. Typical breakfast, clean room and extremely comfy beds. Worth the stop!”

“We made a trip this way to visit Cedar Point. This was a very clean family friendly hotel. We stayed three nights with two adults and three kids (15,13,11). Kids enjoyed the breakfast and large spacious rooms. The beds were comfortable and it was a great experience overall. We are returning at the end of the month to visit Cedar Point again and currently finalizing the dates and thinking of booking this hotel again as we had a great stay !”

“Dry clean and updated room. Nice breakfast with eggs and sausage rounds. Clean heated pool that is open till 11:00pm. Unfortunately they were out of cookies until their delivery arrived.”

“This was a quiet and quaint place along the Erie Lake. Don’t look for a gym or spa / sauna, but they did have an outdoor swimming pool. Lots of trees and a great view of the lake”

“It is a business place with a pretty great atmosphere! I loved the hot breakfast options. The pool was heated and indoors. I think they use salt water instead of chlorine and I enjoyed that. I stayed in a king suite with my friend the night before going to Cedar Point. It's a great location for that. We were fully rested after making the trek from Illinois. My room was quiet. The AC is a force to be reckoned with, we could see our breath after it kicked on haha. Big thanks to Ken and other team……

“Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The only thing I didn’t like was the hours for breakfast. Only serving until 9:30am even on the weekend I thought was too early.”

“We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and both breakfasts were very good with a nice selection of food. The only minor issue was that the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty, but after we informed the front desk, the receptionist quickly brought replacements. We also noticed that the ironing board in the closet was broken, so we let the staff know, and they promptly removed it. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The staff was……

“The staff was very nice but the bathroom was not cleaned very well, we went and bought cleaning products to clean it ourselves (sink, toilet, bathtub). Will not be staying again.”

“The elevator did not work. Bathroom was extremely small you couldn’t shut the door that easily. Yellow chair in room was stained and the plugs on the desk did not work.”

The housekeeping could have been better with getting clean towels to us and empying trash since we stayed 3 night. Hallways were not kept up. “Our room looked decent until I went into the bathroom lifted the seat and saw a CLOGGED TOILET. Someone took a dump before us and the HOTEL DIDN’T CLEAN OUR ROOM. I just instantly felt disgusting. If they didn’t clean the toilet, they probably didn’t clean the sink, our bed, the floors. I went to the front desk about it and they didn’t have any other rooms for us to stay. They unclogged the toilet for us. The front desk lady was nice and understanding about it. Hotel is very standard. Nothing……
