Charming, comfy, and clean bed and breakfast with a great staff. The room was a great size that had everything you need. We had a great nights rest and woke up and had a delicious breakfast downstairs in the beautiful dining room. We will definitely be back!

This was living in Downton Abbey for the night. It is a beautiful inn built in 1929, Our room was huge with beautiful antiques and linens; the bath was spacious and elegant. There were not many guests the night we stayed so breakfast was a modest continental offering, but it was served in a delightful breakfast room overlooking a flowered patio and gorgeous grounds. We had arrived early enough in the evening to enjoy reading in the library for few hours before bed. We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

The Montague Inn is an historic property that manages to continue to excel. It's an old house with a gracious stairway to the upper floors. The lack of an elevator will exclude some, but in my case, gracious staff members carried my luggage up and down with no effort on my part. The room and bed were comfortable. One caution: it's an old house and the water heater is downstairs someplace, which means that it takes a couple of minutes for the shower to get hot. The breakfast is typical hotel fare, but it's well prepared and attractively presented -- and the coffee is actually good. The grounds are attractive, and if I were several decades younger and planning a wedding and/or reception venue, this place would be "in the running" for my chosen location.

The Breakfast menu was delicious. The ground of the Montague Inn are exceptional. This is the most beautiful Bed & Breakfast "Hotel" we have ever stayed in. Your every need is met. All comforts & entertainment is very close by. So much to see. We will return there time & time again. If you like to go to Mackinaw Island this is better. You have your car, but you have the most beautiful Historical stay & area. There are beautiful Victorian homes in every direction. Many in Saginaw could be revitalized & a stay at this Hotel will make you want to fall in love with one, buy it & make it your own. A step back in time you will never forget. Thank you so much to everyone who made our trip the most unforgettable ever. Love to you all & God Bless.

Overall we had a positive experience at the inn. It was very clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. The beds were not very comfortable and we were unable to control the temperature of the room, so it was very hot at night. They do provide you with a fan which helped. For the price, we were happy to support a local business and would stay again!

Was close to things, but far enough from the dangerous parts of Saginaw. Place was quaint, the staff was nice. Our room had some issues witht the thermostat, but we eventually figured out how to keep our room cool.
