“Riu it’s always a great time, it’s a party resort you don’t really come there for anything else lol food was edible. And we were able to go to the other hotel Riu Montego Bay, and eat lunch there and go to their parties. I only got to try the buffet and the snack bar. You had to have reservations for everything else which everything was booked the whole time we were there. The jerk chicken hut was good on the beach as well.”

“Food and staff were friendly. Roshawn was very helpful and attentive to anything I needed. I would have preferred to see oxtail and curry goat more in the buffet or on Jamaican nights.”

“The hotel staff is wonderful! They were very kind and always eager to help. The hotel property is in serious need of updating. My first room was in desperate need of repair, the curtains were dirty on the bottom, the shower was moldy and the fridge was hot. I was then transferred to another room over 24 hours later. That room was better but still not clean, floor had footprints and there was still the mildew smell. The fridge was warm in that room also. ”

“We stayed in a basic two bed room. Our first room we found roaches and we were given the opportunity to move rooms. After moving rooms we noticed a mildew smell, another roach and the bedding had stains on it. This is the same resort that has you sign a document being responsible for staining their linens and getting charged $250 but the linens already had noticeable stains. It was constantly loud, slamming of doors, fights in the hall ways. The room service menu was terrible, the food was……
