「We liked that it was remote and perfect for birdwatching. The host checked up on us as we were delayed by road closures and the caretaker generously showed us around the property, pointing out good views and wildlife locations. The apartment is very roomy and had everything we needed. It was a short drive to Telluride, MUCH less expensive than the 'city', and we got to shop in the darling little grocery/BBQ place in Sawpit. 」

「The room was clean and well featured but keep in mind this is a studio unit with no kitchen. There’s a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker but you’re doing dishes in the bathroom sink. The entire town is only a mile across so walking everywhere was easy or there’s a free town shuttle and free parking lot across the street. Good location for skiing, Lift 7 is next to the property. I was able to ride up but the front side trails were closed due to lack of snow so I had to take the gondola...
