Caniço is situated about 10 kilometres east of Funchal, the capital city of Madeira. It is known for its stunning coastal cliffs, lush greenery, and proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.

The town offers breathtaking views of the ocean and the surrounding cliffs. Visitors can enjoy scenic walks along the coastline, exploring hidden coves and soaking in the natural beauty of the area.

Caniço is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy activities such as hiking, diving, snorkelling, and birdwatching in the nearby nature reserves and marine parks.

Like the rest of Madeira, Caniço enjoys a mild subtropical climate with warm temperatures throughout the year. This makes it an ideal destination for travellers looking to escape colder climates and enjoy the sunshine and pleasant weather.

Before your check-in, we will send you your check-in options and where to pick up the keys. Please note that personal check-in with a concierge costs 10€, pending availability.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Please let us know if you need cleaning or extra linen; we will gladly provide an additional charge.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at a minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).

Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.

Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
