Our stay at Villa Maria Tayrona was absolutely perfect. We had the deluxe double room that had a stunning all around sea and jungle view. The food was great, the staff was incredibly accommodating and so very friendly. The beach is at a 7min walk on a beautifully adorned and paved walkway. If you are looking for a quiet place in the middle of nature with a jungle feel but close to the sea I definitely recommend this place. We came during the holiday season for our beach wedding our stay made this special week even more magical. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I stayed two nights at the property. We 100 would go back. The property grounds are stunning, your transformed to a jungle oasis and the morning sunrises kept amazing us each day. The staff were what made this place, they use WhatsApp so you can always text any questions and can arrange pick up and drop off to Tyrona park. Like I said would stay again

I visited Villa Maria in 2023 by myself on business and was absolutely stunned with the entire stay. Enough so, I brought my fiance back with me just recently to experience all Villa Maria had to offer. The jungle location, the short beautiful walk to the ocean, comfortable and clean accomodations, to the super friendly management, grounds staff, restaurant staff, and wonderful food and drink, Villa Maria is a great and beautiful experience. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located in the forest, so expect to hear animals ;) After a long journey, you will arrive in a beautiful place. The hotel is situated in a large space with the restaurant in the middle. The rooms are very beautiful with stunning views. The hotel provides a restaurant because you are in the jungle and might not always feel like going out. It is located 6km from the park entrance. The service is impeccable; they will show you how to reach the park (private car or collective transport in front of the hotel). A massage room and a swimming pool are also available. A beach is located 300m from the hotel via a private path.

We really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. Perfect relaxing place. Cesar at the desk and Ricardo the Porter were very friendly and helpful. We took the bus 5 minutes to the park entrance and it was very easy. We also took the bus up the other way to the walk/hike to the Enchanted Pools. They organized a good and reasonably price taxi to Cartagena at the end. The beach is also a short walk and you can pay a few dollars for chairs under an umbrella and theres waves but nice to swim there. The hotel can help organize some excursions and we should have done one but were too lazy to decide on one and commit to a time. Other the hotel there aren’t many other places to eat, we did try the cafe at the end of the road (Raíz Cafe) and it had good ice coffee and vegetarian sandwiches. My only recommendation is that the hotel have a few more vegan/vegetarian options with protein for dinner (like even beans, rice, avocado and plátanos would be perfect). And add yogurt for breakfast. Thanks for a great stay!
