Mixed Review but a good week!
Our family with 8 adults and one baby has a great week together, but I have mixed feelings on this particular property.
The good:
The location is absolutely amazing! A short walk to a very private beach. It was luxurious! The layout of the house was perfect for our family. With four couples each having their own full and private bathroom, we all felt so grateful! The inside of the house was clean and beautiful, decorated well, and had wonderful updates.
The bad:
We had several problems throughout the week. The smoke alarm went off for the first 2 nights which significantly disrupted our sleep and resulted in exhausted, disjointed daytimes as well. The daytime service line was very responsive, helpful, and even refunded us a little bit for the inconvenience. However we could not get ahold of anyone on the nighttime “emergency” service phone line either night.
We also had trouble with a burned out outlet on the grill and a broken ice maker in the freezer.
The outside of the property, particularly the screened in porch was very dirty. There was food and cigarette butts and it had not been properly cleaned. The pool area and outdoor area could use “freshening up” and a good power clean as well.
Overall:
We love 30A and will visit again!
