A memorable new year
We welcomed 2025 in this beautiful, well-designed home with 3 generations ranging from 2 to 79. The ceiling height and coastal decor were gorgeous.Highlights:. A well stocked, spacious kitchen - with especially appreciated slow cooker and Tupperware. We were missing a mixer upon arrival, and they provided one promptly!. The pool and hot tub heat worked exactly as promised, which was crucial for a cool week.. The responsiveness of the staff was nearly instantaneous - we did have a couple issues that weren't resolved within our stay (hot tub jets, ice maker in the freezer, broken shade in basement bedroom), but we were appreciative of the quick replies.. Great location - a very short walk to the gorgeous beach, and near coffee, a butcher shop, and shopping. Loved the rooftop deck for sunrise and sunset. Used the golf cart, bikes, ping pong, and the sport court every day!Extremely minor suggestions:. The kitchen was missing table linens, enough steak knives (we only had 6), and an adequate supply of serving plates/ silverware - we cooked at home all but one night, so those additions would be a big plus.. We played around with remotes - they weren't all in the right locations upon arrival, so adding that as a check when the house is turned or labeling them would help guests. . We couldn't find a convenient place to wash feet when returning from the beach.We were so sad to leave - it was a spectacular stay, and we would rent another Southern Holiday property eagerly!
