Perfect getaway for families

We enjoyed our stay. Wish we could give greater than 5 stars. Our house was great providing communication and prompt response to any questions asked. Property was exactly as described. Great location. Beach access not too far. We can’t wait to visit again in the fall.

Wonderful Stay

We loved staying at this house! The location was great. The neighborhood is very cute and we enjoyed going on morning walks through it. There are trails that connect to the neighborhood as well. The screened in porches on this house are great. The porches are large and we enjoyed spending time on both of them. The decor and furnishings of the house were beautiful. Each bathroom came stocked with travel sized toiletries - more than enough to get us through the week. The host was quick to respond to anything and very accommodating. We enjoyed the beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and not having to pack our own beach towels. We looked at many different rentals before booking and were very happy with our choice to stay at The Shorebird!

Excellent family vacation spot

The Shorebird was a perfect spot for a family vacation. We had two families of four and the house and setup were ideal with plenty of space for young kids. It is just like it looks in the pictures, no surprises. The house came equipped with plenty of beach chairs, toys and towels. The screened-in porch in front is very convenient for leaving all your wet and sandy gear. The community pool is great for all ages and just a short walk up the road. Highlands Park is a wonderful neighborhood, conveniently located near Blue Mountain Beach access point, Gulfview Heights beach access and Gulf Place shops and restaurants. I highly recommend renting a golf cart and/or bikes for your stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. House was showing a bit of wear but was clean and had a great location. One small issue was resolved by the host immediately. We would stay here again.
