"Breakfast was great, especially the first day as they made delicious French toast. The waffles were good them second day but not great, needed some peanut butter available for toast, French toast, and waffles. The coffee in the cafe bar was top notch but unfortunately not available in the morning. The in room coffee was decent but the coffee at the breakfast was not great. It would be worth bringing your own coffee grounds to the room. Service at restaurant and checkin were excellent. The hot springs were fantastic and well used. Very good fitness room and great massage staff"

"Our superior room had a perfect view of the volcano. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. The hot spring pools are stunning and there are so many different ones to try! Grins are kept beautifully tidy. The swim up bar (warm water) was a memorable evening activity. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location outside town feels like a true retreat, within easy driving distance of Arenal, Mistico, sloth tours, other termales. We would come back!"

"The place truly grows on you. While the property is a bit dated, the people more than make up for it with their warmth and helpfulness. We stayed in a chalet overlooking the volcano, and on a clear day the view was simply enviable. The breakfast staff goes out of their way to make mornings pleasant, and the front desk team is consistently friendly and supportive, contributing greatly to a comfortable and enjoyable stay"
