We had the BEST stay at Pelican Post in Bradenton Beach! The location truly can’t be beat—just a short walk to all the bars, restaurants, and the beach, yet still tucked away enough to feel private and relaxing.
The private pool and hot tub were such a luxury—honestly felt like our own little oasis after a day out. Everything was clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully set up to make the stay easy and comfortable.
Whether you’re looking for a fun weekend with friends or a laid-back getaway, this place hits the mark. We loved being able to walk everywhere and then come back to unwind in peace.
Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

This is a great location to Bridge Street and the pier. the beach was just a short 3 minute walk across the street. Definitely visit the daiquiri bar rooftop and you must do a dolphin tour with the crew on the pier! Pool and hot tub were so serene and relaxing, very very clean. Our room was cleaned every day and we felt very comfortable.

Very cute spot 3 minute walk to the beach and even less to Bridge Street. Pool area was very nice; in the sun most of the day. If you’re looking for a place to basically sleep, this is your place. There was a decent sized frig. Main pitfall, the outside lights are very bright and the room doesn’t get very dark, and another mirror potentially full length would aide people trying to get ready as the bathroom is a tight space. Also, it’s on the backside of the Post Office and a restaurant, so early morning can be a bit noisy. With that being said, I’d definitely return.

The room was okay. Bathroom was tiny - horribly small for 4 people, let alone if you had 6. The room smelled upon entrance - we thought it was vomit, but they say the maintenance team had spilled some fluid from removing the mini fridge. Maintenance did show up and cleaned the entire floor, but it was not pleasant to walk into. Bad first impression. They mentioned a discount and then never mentioned it again!

The room was great! Clean and comfortable! The check in was difficult. There is no office at facility and was confused about the process of going a mile away to a central office to get our wrist band keys. I would have chalked it up to our own ignorance but, other couples ran into the same issue.

Parking was extremely easy with our own spot, pool was clean, nice pool area. Staff was nice when checking in. Our place was nice, large and exactly what I expected from photos on website. We could walk anywhere we needed to go.

Overall I really enjoyed this property. It was sparkling clean and modern, with easy walkable access to shopping and the beach. The area has multiple bars and there is a public parking lot across the street so it was a bit noisy at night, and the headlights from the cars shone right in our windows. Also the walls are a bit thin. the first night our neighbor was yelling all night and it felt like she was in the room with me.The furnishings in the kitchenette could have been better - the metal chairs were very uncomfortable and made a horrible noise when sliding on the tile floor. It would be nice to have more comfortable seating in that area. Also the tvs were WAY too large for the rooms. It wasn’t even possible to comfortably watch the one in the kitchenette. The staff was all lovely and very responsive via text. Overall I would definitely stay at this property or one of the other ones associated with it next time, especially for the great rate I paid this time (seems like rates are much higher for upcoming months though).
