“Clean quiet mother in law type unit attached to the main dwelling. The hosts were friendly and attentive to any needs, of which there were very few. Fridge was stocked with milk, eggs, butter, English muffins and bagels. Also beer and some juice. Fresh fruit on the table. We had a wonderful stay.”

“This was our first VRBO experience, and we are hooked. We had a wedding in Pittsfield with events over three days, so we decided to try this lakeside retreat, and it was a treat! The Berkshires in the fall are absolutely beautiful and Hinsdale is a pretty little town. Ozzie's is definitely worth the trip for breakfast. “Husband and I spent a lovely weekend in March at this in law apartment attached to host’s main house. Loved the hot tub, the cleanliness, parking, convenience. So close to North Adams and Williamstown museums, good restaurants and lots of hiking. The only downside was that we could hear the kids on the other side of the wall, so if this was meant to be a really romantic getaway that could’ve been a problem. Host was responsive, friendly, laid back and not at all in our way.”

“Clean and spacious apartment, close to campus - just what I needed. Loved the purple bedroom! Some noise from street (it is right on Route 7) and downstairs tenants. Potential guests should know that it is an upstairs apartment at the top of a steep staircase. This was fine for me but if someone is mobility-challenged or has heavy luggage, it could be an issue for them.”

The property offers great privacy in a remote wooded setting in the heart of the always beautiful Berkshires. We brought our dog along, and we all were able to relax by the fire, read our favorite books, as well as peruse interesting titles on the impressive bookshelf built into the living room wall—a book lover’s delight.
