"This is a gem situated in a rougher area. The hotel was beautiful and in its prime it was probably the place to be. It’s an older hotel but well maintained. Room and grounds were immaculate. Parking area is only accessible from front which made it feel more secure. Goggle maps tried to bring me in rear which is fenced off so pay attention if maps is guiding you wrong. "

"This was a convenient place to stay near the national park but also right in town close to shopping and restaurants. Parking was easy, good breakfast and nice rooms. "

"The property was very nice and clean. We were excited to see how well the kitchen was set up with cooking utensils - we have stayed many places and it is not often the rentals have decent pots and pans! If you are coming to visit the Everglades and Biscayne the property is about 15 - 20 minutes from both and they are easy to get to. It was a little noisy outside as it is next to a busy intersection- we didn't expect it to be super quiet since it is in a very developed area and it didn’t bother us. I did make a mistake and forgot to add our entire family count to the reservation and we were short on towels. The communication was answered quickly; however we didn't get the additional towels and made due. The only issue was the shower in the shared bath drained very slowly. We alerted the property manager but it wasn't fixed during our stay. "
