Ample space and amenities for the short time we actually spent in the room. The basement room was a bit chilly, but we prefer that when we sleep so it wasn’t a huge deal for us. 「The entire Bear house property is incredibly charming and inviting. The Stinson Suite was as well. The space is incredibly charming and cozy perfect for 1-2 couples or a small family. St Elmo is a lovely town and is perfectly walkable from the property. Beautiful area and so many great options for food, shopping, and experiences nearby.」

「We had a wonderful long weekend in this spacious condo..We visit this city frequently and this was one of the best locations we have stayed in terms of proximity/accessibility to restaurants, riverfront, etc. It was very nice, clean condo and the layout was very relaxing. Brad was very accommodating and extremely responsive. The only down side was the late night traffic from the road outside, if you are a light sleeper you might want to have your white noise on. 「The Bear House is a delightful place to stay. We had the full upstairs and it was like two small apartments that were joined together. Yes it is a little eclectic, but so many personal touches and each room is decorated individually. Everyone loved it. Plenty of little sitting areas and very quiet and sound proof. 「Staying in an updated historic loft that is beautifully decorated, made us feel so comfortable. There is a park across the street and the loft is near the base of Lookout Mountain. There is so much to see and do within a few minutes walk or short drive. The scenery was beautiful and so was the architecture in the neighborhood. Local people were helpful. We will be back because there is more to explore.」

「This was our first Vrbo so we were nervous, but the venue was beautiful and clean and everything we needed. We were attending a wedding nearby so wanted something convenient but could house us. It did not disappoint. We took several walks to the creek and enjoyed being able to spend time together but also have our separate spaces. Our phones didn’t have service there but the WiFi was excellent and the owner responded in a reasonable time with a couple questions we had. 」

Checked all of our boxes: comfy beds, modern bathrooms, walkable to many restaurants and even the Chattanooga aquarium (1.5 miles).」
