Family trip to the smokies

Everything was great! The beds were comfy, kitchen stocked with necessities, easy access in and out the resort. The resort also had tons of things to do if you didn’t want to venture out and fight the crowds. Wish I could leave more than 5 stars!!

Absolutely perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Balsam Mist! Beautiful view from the back porch/hot tub- very clean.... honestly couldn’t have asked for better. Admittedly looks a tad bigger in pictures, but we have no complaints whatsoever- already talking about a return trip! Thanks for everything!

Homey and comfortable

Lovely cabin with all the little touches that make your stay most comfortable, fully stocked kitchen, lots of hooks, plenty of room for our family of 5. Other than some cobwebs in the windows and over the beds and in corners, it was well kept and clean. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and lovely views off the back decks. Will be back!

Wonderful Cabin and community!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was beautiful, clean and well appointed. The community was great as well with mini golf, fishing ponds, and other amenities. I forgot two fishing rods and the community shipped them to me in days, great service!

Everything was great except for the broken main floor tub. Didn’t tell me till last minute that was broken so we couldn’t used it after they try to patch it it was till leaking so we didn’t used…

Great time in the Smokies

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It was perfect for our family. We loved the amenities at the cabin including those offered at Littlw Calley Mountain Resort.

Very nice cabin

We stayed for a few days, everything was very clean. Lots of cabins around but the way things are set up you still feel fairly secluded when you're out on the back porch/using the hot tub, etc. Close to town so it's easy to go do the tourist attractions if you want.

We enjoyed our time there soo much!! Beautiful cabin. Very clean and had everything we needed. We got a visit from two little raccoons on the first night that made our grandsons day!! Will definitely be back.

Nightmare Christmas Stay!

First, we loved the cabin even though it was very hard to find after dark. Everything was fine until it started snowing on Christmas Eve. The property maintenance and staff did nothing to combat the icy roads that were not navigable! We had to leave our cars on the side of the steep, windy road and hike into our cabin. Our cars were not able to move for 48 hours, when it started to melt. No sanding, no grading until December 26th in the afternoon. The power went out on Christmas Eve for over 24 hours, and we had no way to leave. 24 hours with no heat, no plumbing, no water, no access to food. Our cabin was at 48° for those 24 hours. We huddled under blankets by the meager fire in the fire place. When we called the emergency number, we only got an answering service and no one ever called us back. Both maintenance and office staff were enjoying Christmas Eve and Christmas Day while we suffered. A property management team has a responsibility to make sure roads are safe and navigable. We understand that power outages happen, but no back up generators, no candles, only two flashlights, and no way to leave the property was a health and safety hazzard. We are extremely dissapointed with the Little Mountain Valley Resort staff, and would never stay at the resort again because of this horrific experience!

Perfect Little Cabin

My husband, friends and I had a great long weekend at the cabin! Very close to Pigeon Forge and easy drive to Gatlinburg! The cabin had everything we needed for comfort!
