Great getaway!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Lots of entertainment for the kids (and adults too!) with the amazing game room, pool, hot tub, fire pit and plenty of DVDs to watch. Location was perfect - private but still a short drive to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. We’d definitely stay there again.

Amazing Vacation Spot

We enjoyed every second at the Firefly Lagoon! It rained for two of the 3 days we were there. It was the perfect place to be rained out as there was so much to do at the cabin. The owners were had all the instructions lined out and it made it easy at arrival and check out. I would stay again and would recommend this spot to others as well.

Exactly as listed! Very clean. Is close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg yet has the secluded feeling we were wanting. We had no issues and the host was easy to reach and quick to respond! Definitely recommend staying here.

Great trip with family and friends

We had an excellent stay at firefly lagoon. The host communicated everything perfectly and answered any questions I had after booking. The property itself is updated and in great shape. Perfect location to downtown Gatlinburg. About a 5 minute drive. Can’t wait to come and stay again!

Awesome Time!!

The house is perfectly stocked and appointed with things to do for everyone! No one was bored or looking for things to do despite being the wrong time of year for the pool to open, and that’s saying a lot considering we had 4 kids aged from 8-11. Everything was perfect, and the house is close enough to the attractions that it’s not a hassle but far enough to not have the traffic.

Exceeded expectations

The property was very nice and had everything we could have needed. The host thought of so many details that were such a nice touch, such as towels by the back door. The kids especially LOVED the game room. We could have just stayed at the house the whole time and had a blast. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed with our children (ages 11-15) and the property was just as described. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and perfectly located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg - short drives anywhere you went. Our children enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, and the game room was a big hit! I can't say enough about Melissa - she was wonderful to work with, was so attentive, and communicated quickly when anything came up! Would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Review of Firefly Lagoon

Overall we had a good stay. The interior was clean and was as advertised. We noticed none of the bathrooms had any soap though, so we had to use dish soap. The pool area did not appear to have been cleaned recently. We had to sweep up the concrete, remove bird droppings off the hot tub cover, tidy up the furniture, put away pool toys, and remove leaves from the pool, before we felt comfortable using the pool area. Overall I’d say it was a fun stay once we got the place in order!

Perfect Location

The house was great. We have visited the area several times over the years and this house had the best location. Very clean and well taken care of! The game room was our favorite part. The only thing I would comment on would be the temperature upstairs. We did find it to be a little too warm at night in the bedrooms upstairs even with the fan on. The house could probably use an AC unit upstairs especially during summer, but I wouldn’t say the temperature would keep me from booking again. I would stay again!

Amazing game room; excellent host communication.

We had a great stay at Firefly Lagoon. It’s wonderfully located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The game room, hot tub, and pool were great. We enjoyed our time at the fire pit, too. Our only issue was with the TV and watching live football games. Melissa is very responsive to questions.

This was the perfect stay for the entire family. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. All the comforts of home. Everything was well thought out. The game room was a high point for the kids. Would like to have had ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. Would highly recommend and definitely want to return when the pool is open.

Weekend at Pigeon Forge

Nice place for a smaller family getaway. Our two children really loved the hot tub, pool, mini golf and game room. For the adults, it’s pretty quiet and secluded. Great place to disconnect. The pool is nice to have, but it’s also in a tough location in the woods so it gets limited sunlight and can get a lot of debris from the woods. The house also has a few things in it that seem very clearly DIY, but nothing that takes away from the home overall. Given the chance, I would stay there again.

Beautiful cabin in great location

Beautiful cabin with lots to do. We had a few issues upon arrival. Host communicated well and had everything taken care of quickly. It is stocked well. The kids ages 1, 11 and 15 all had fun in the game room. Actually we all did. The cabin is located just a few minutes from everything. The pool was still a little cold but the kids didnt seem to mind. Would definitely book again.

This cabin has lots of amenities for everyone in our group. We had kids aged 4-14 and no one got bored. The game room was a big hit (pictures don’t do it justice!). This cabin has lots of little extras and everything was well thought out. The beds were cozy and the house was clean. I would absolutely stay here again. Ps. It was too cold for us to utilize the pool, but during the warmer months, the patio area would be amazing.

Great home to relax away from the hustle and bustle. Perfectly located to quickly get to all of the excitement in either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Also close to the entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park. Our hosts immediately contacted us upon booking and shared a useful and well thought out guide to the area. The house had plenty of amenities, felt cozy, and welcoming. We couldn't bring ourselves to walk through the rain and flurries to use the hottub but when first looking at the tub, it was very clean.Our 4year old thought the arcade room was amazing! Had tons of options to keep you busy especially when youre traveling in cold climate. Easy to find things to occupy your time. We had a great stay!We would definitely stay here again!

The home and property was beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the game room and used it daily. The pool was cold because it is not heated and there wasn't much sunlight the week we stayed to warm the water. The hot tub made up for the inability to enjoy the pool though. Even during a rainy week, there was so much to do at the cabin and in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg both only 10-15 minutes away. Would highly recommend this property. Well worth the money.

Stayed for April School Break. Loved the location because the property is perfectly located with convenient access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Nestled on a quiet and secluded road. Cute house/cabin, comfortable beds, kids loved the game room. Not yet pool season but would have liked the fenced in back area to be cleaned up some for hanging outside. The second floor can get warm at night especially for the bunkroom so would suggest a fan all bedrooms. Overall we loved coming back to the house each night to unwind and relax from our long days out exploring. Would absolutely recommend and return!

Great Location and arcade room for kids.

We enjoyed our stay over fall break. Inside was cleanest of any VRBO we have stayed in. Our boys loved the arcade room. As advertised Wi-Fi/internet should not be counted on as we spent about 90 minutes trying to get Thursday night football going and finally succumbed to the mountains. Only reason for 4 stars was pool area and furniture were covered in leaves and had not been cleaned off in some time. Had to clear a path to the hot tub and patio furniture was too dirty to sit on, wasn’t pool weather but that area is viewable from living room and master so would have been nice to have the leaves and spiders cleaned out. Other than that was a great stay and more amenities than we typically get with a mountain top cabin.
