“What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better.
I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. The food was wonderful and good value and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what an independent hotel / restaurant should be like. Thanks……

“Everything about this hotel was great. The staff who welcomed us with a glass of Prosecco and advice about where to go and eat. To the beautiful room, lovely and spacious and very clean. A bath and walk-in shower both spotless and powerful. The breakfast was lovely (heated plates a nice touch), only niggle was that it was a limited range of breakfast items out, however being able to order pretty much any breakfast item, cooked fresh was a treat; my poached egg and oak smoked haddock was……
