「We stayed in one of the beautiful, cosy stream huts. Everything was comfortable and clean, and the thoughtful touches were greatly appreciated. The log burner added to the experience too.」

「Excellent hotel slightly let down by the bathroom. Overall very nice- great decor, comfy beds, A/c, excellent pillows. But the bathroom radiator couldn’t be turned off even though it was 30 degrees outside, there was nowhere to put anything down (no shelf etc) and the shower water was hard to get to maintain a good temperature. I’d still stay there again though. It really was very nice.」

「This is an ancient, historic hotel. Be mindful of the fact that you are staying here more for the character and historical significance then for the comfort. Stairways are small and steep and parking - went available at all - is challenging. That said, however, the staff is very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our one night stay.」
