"Beautiful building, very lovingly maintained. The staff were friendly but not always able to speak English properly. The whole experience had an air of 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' film: both in terms of grandeur and comedy value. Gym was very poor for a 5 star hotel. "

"Overall a great hotel stay to Gotemba premium outlet and Mt Fuji lake area.Great hotel service,free breakfast and free shuttle service to its nearby area chain hotels !! Keep it up !!!!LOVE IT!!! Definately will stay again if were to visit the premium outlet again and very very near to Gotemba station and limited-express bus to Shinjuku.Only the con is the surrounding not much shopping area and restuarants...u have either have to eat at the premium outlet or get from the nearby limited family mart store.."

"Nice hotel close to Gora Station. We got a room in the condo wing and it was very spacious with a great view. Easy walk to a couple of main sites in the area, such as the Open Air Museum. Staff was also nice. Breakfast buffet was really good, too. Only complaint was the breakfast buffet room was cramped, so navigating through the food tables/areas with your tray and all the people was not fun."

"Hotel was clean and the staff were all very polite and helpful. The beds were a little uncomfortable, the AC didn’t work well and the room was hot but we were able to open the windows which was nice. Overall, the hotel was dated and guest rooms could use a renovation "

"The room was ok... not incredibly spacious. Our room was also overlooking the parking lot and a construction zone, so that was strange. We really couldn't keep the blinds open. The room was advertised having an onsen, and really it was just a deep bath. For $800+ a night, we were expecting more. No coffee in the lobby in the morning (except if you were having the $40 breakfast). The people working there weren't as friendly and accommodating as we found throughout the rest of Japan. The bar area was nice and they offered a happy hour menu."
