"The 3-minute walk was uphill from Gora station, thankfully along a paced path by the cable-car tracks. If I didn’t have google maps, it might have been bit hard to find the place. Gora is beautiful, had pizza at nearby pub, excellent. The Gira Base B had its own terrace ( tight, narrow steps) but was cool. The room had large beds, all 4 of us slept in our own beds. Top Odawara Hotel Reviews

The Fujiya Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful hotel. Charming rooms, terrific staff. Restaurant and bar first rate."

The Prince Hakone Lake Ashinoko

10/10 Excellent

"Stunning grounds, comfortable rooms, slightly outdated decor. Unfortunately I couldn’t get coffee in the morning until restaurants were open. Would be nice to have free coffee and tea at early morning. Food in Japaneese restaurant was really overpriced for the quality of dishes ."

YuYu Hakone - Private Open Air Onsen Usage Guaranteed

10/10 Excellent

"Bus stop right out front and convenient to the ropeway stop. Beat the crowds and go clockwise (ship, ropeway, then cable car). Black eggs stop worth it. Need cash if not using the H or K buses. Hakone pass was worth it as it covered the ferry, ropeway, cable car and H and K busses. The private onsen was really good after a day out. You book it for an hour and is included in your booking. Room #1 has its own shower, others use the onsen showers."
