「It's an absolutely beautiful historic Japanese home in a relatively quiet neighborhood. It's a great way to escape the business of the bigger cities for a couple days. Check in was easy and friendly. The train station is only a 5 minute walk away and they have a Family Mart about a 5-10 minute walk away. The beach is also only a 10-15 walk away so this is a very conveniently located hotel. It is a traditional Japanese home though so don't expect comfy king size beds, tvs, couches or much...

「The house was difficult to find and, as mentioned, had a steep hill to walk down. When we entered, it smelled strongly of gas as there were 3 gasoline jars directly inside the door. The smell gave all four of us a headache. Also, it was VERY cold, due to missing windows. The heaters were set at max and we were still very cold. Lastly, the floors are not stable. In the dining room, it felt like we were walking on cardboard, as the floor flexed and moved when we walked. 」

「House is very clean and has a lot of beds, kitchen items, and shower stuff to use. No mold, no bugs, no dirt. The place is a slight long walk from the parking lot and there are not a lot of lights walking up the path but the directions that the owner left was very useful to find parking. The place is good to stay if you have friend group.」

「外観が古く民家の中にあり、建物が分かりにくかったです。道路が狭く車では大変でした。 駐車場もなかったので、駐車場を借り、そこから歩いて行きました。 テレビが地デジが映らなかったので、そこだけ不便でした。 内装は綺麗でしたので、満足してます。」

「An amazing house with great volume, vaulted ceilings, 4 bedrooms and a private onsen bath. The house was beautiful, perfectly located near all the exciting restaurants and sights around Hakone. A perfect place to spend a few days and I wish we had more time to truly enjoy it fully. Lots of windows, a beautiful garden, gorgeous interior with wood paneling everywhere and some rooms with traditional tatami mats. Highly recommend !」
