Odawara Family Hotel

"Exceptional hotel with stunning views of the lake and Mount Fuji. Perched alone on top of the hill it had a slight Shining feel to it. It has retained its chic 1960s decor. The food is highly priced, but it was a simple shuttle ride down to the town and we had the pleasure of dining at Shoya restaurant which was also a highlight of our trip. "

"Very nice especially the buffet dinner. The onsen provide towels for users. Staff very helpful to take photo at the lobby foot onsen. "

"This property was simply dreamy. Shrouded in beautiful Autumn foliage and appointed with traditional Japanese accommodations (slippers specific to the toilet room, main room and patio each), it felt like quiet, authentic luxury. The breakfast is vast with Japanese options and sufficient western options like fruits, breads and meats."

"This hotel was WOW! We went to Japan and stayed at 4 different hotels and this one was my favorite one. Service was a 100000/10 food was great, views were unbelievable amazing. Keep in mind this hotel is located on a rural area so you are about 20 min away from the little town and everything closes at 8. Meaning you are unable to get into public transportation or taxi after that time. We had to walk 30 min to get back to the hotel. Nothing major, you really don’t hav to leave this hotel because it is stunning "
