“We were initially given a room on the first floor, but on returning after going for a meal, we were asked to move, to a room on the ground floor. After five minutes we were asked to move again to the first floor, next to our original room!. The receptionist was very apologetic. We think the bathroom needs updating, it has a shower over the bath, but no hand rails, so getting in and out, can be difficult, as there is nothing to hold on to.”

“Not the most helpful of checkins which lasted all of 2 minutes - not told about breakfast times or check out. I think more pre occupied on taking the payment. Room was ok, mattresses were both hard so wasn’t the best nights sleep and we had noisy neighbours, as the walls must be thin- children arguing till near midnight wasn’t the best!!! “Lovely overnight stay. Very welcoming. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast choice was great and my cooked meal was lovely. The only thing I'd recommend is replacing the hair-dryers, the one in my room kept cutting out and took awhile to cool down before I could briefly try to use again. Other than that I feel the hotel went the extra mile and looked after me very well, couldn't be nicer. ”
