“Access worked well via code communicated via email. Room was very clean and well appointed. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Small bathroom with nice rainfall shower. Location was ideal sitting at the bottom of Steep Hill between shops and historic Lincoln (castle/cathedral). ”

“I was disappointed to find out that the bar / restaurant was closed Monday and Tuesdays, this was not mentioned or highlighted on booking.
As a business trip this was not what i was expecting.
The room was extremely nice, but with a small kitchen area there was no microwave or cooker, only a toaster.
This meant i could not buy food to cook and had to find a restaurant for my evening meal if i wanted a hot dinner.
Everything about the room was amazing, very peaceful and a great night sleep.

“Premium Price – Not the Premium Stay Advertised
We booked a two-night stay in a Lake View room at Rutland Hall to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. Reviews were largely positive and the photos looked impressive, so expectations were high — unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the premium pricing.

“The room was lovely and clean. The bathroom was clean but had a smell of urine. The shower was difficult to get a good temperature, so it was an extremely hot wash. I was in room 6, the radiator kept going crazy, in the sense it was loud, like the motor was malfunctioning. But due to the company I had, I was extremely happy and would go back again. Overall happy. ”
