"Hazels lodge was the perfect spot for our large family group in waimauku for a wedding. The house was well provisioned and really comfortable. There is plenty of room for parking and the outdoor sitting area was fantastic, complete with BBQ. We all had a great time and commented to each other how peaceful and perfect it was. "The property is gorgeous! Daisy was very prompt with all communication. The pool, spa, games room and home theatre space were all big highlights for us. There are so many rooms in the house, so a lot of space to spreadout. Plenty of parking too.The home has some improvements that could be made - general maintenance of items such as the air hockey table, dining chairs, outdoor furniture, window frames as a number were broken or breaking. It would be great to have more supplies available such as pool towels, fly spray, more toilet paper and enough bath towels for the number of guests staying. The spa pool is a safety concern as it does not have a lockable cover. The feedback on the beds was that they were very, very, very hard and very uncomfortable to sleep on. If the beds could be ungraded this would make a huge difference. The house is very grand, and with a few improvements to comfort it would be amazing to stay again. A great spot for large groups attending nearby events. "
