The customer service experience was horrible. They had no manager on property. The staff member all had different thing to say. The rooms didn’t have a way to secure the door from inside. The food was ok.

Lobby staffs, unfriendly, unprofessional looks like they are overwhelmed. They are not willing to understand or work with you. We booked 2 ocean view rm w/2 beds. Were given 2 rooms with kings. That’s all they have available they said. Even they charged us for it already. They cannot do anything as we booked through Expedia and not with them. However, we can go back the next day and check with them to see if they would have a Oceanview room available with two for full-size bed. Breakfast and lunch were OK nothing to brag about bars staffs appeared to be overworked in stressed only one bartender per bar. when it comes to the ocean view, it is beautiful. overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone based on my experience, but the previous was amazing. They recommendation is for a staff members to be more customer. Focus customer friendly won’t won’t listen and work with the customers and see alternative. Don’t just rush to charge that they cannot undo the outcome of the stripped when it comes to room accommodations. We ended up one room with King side bed with ocean view even though we paid for two beds instead of one and they had a roof with just pool view with two bed they can’t un charge us for Ocean view because we already paying and that we went through Expedia.

The alcohol was horrible you couldn’t even drink any of it. We had to go out buy the alcohol at supermarket to be able to drink it. The bartenders were nice but not enough of them to be efficient for the amount of people at the resort. The system of how to make reservations for the restaurants was only on certain time and you had to get up super early to form the line. The quality of the food in restaurants were just ok editable. The food at the buffet was good choices and decent quality. The towels for the pool one was allowed to get at one location only and only for certain about time and if you lost it $15.00 to replace the towel. The resort didn’t have enough beach chairs or umbrellas for shade at the pool or beach. The pool area didn’t have swim up bar which was ok if only they had waiters by the pool to get your drinks or enough bartenders to not form such huge line just to get water or horrible drink you couldn’t even drink. Overall the place was located by the beach with beautiful view. My room was very musty and needed upgrades. The air conditioning was on and off throughout the nights. I did have a roach in my room one night.. overall experience I would not recommend or return to this resort unless the turn over to new management was to up keep the resort. The staff were friendly and polite.

The staff was amazing! The receptionists, cleaning crew, restaurant workers, etc., were all kind and helpful. Also, the location, right near the ocean, was awesome. If you enjoy being right next to the ocean, this is the place. Lastly, for being all-inclusive, I thought the food was pretty decent, not great, but decent. On the other hand, my room was definitely dated. The shower barely had any water pressure, and the mattress was very uncomfortable when sleeping on my back or side. My preferred positions. For reference, I am 6’1 and 180 lbs. Lastly, visitors are not allowed to see you at this hotel. Knowing the area a little, I believe that this a good rule. However, keep that in mind if you wish to see family or friends in the area.

absolutely lovely breakfasts each day during my stay. The only issue was with getting extra room towels and having my room cleaned. It was done, just a day later. Staff was lovely and helpful when the language barrier was not so prevalent. Overall, I would return again, not too big of a resort that you get lost, yet still seems spread out~

I booked a stay at Casa Marina Sosua expecting a relaxing vacation, but it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, there were serious issues. When we entered the room, there were what appeared to be blood stains in the bathroom and near the hallway entrance. On top of that, the shower was in poor condition—the shower head was loose and fell while I was using it. The food situation was equally bad. We tried both the reservation-based restaurants and the buffet, and the quality was extremely poor. The meat, in particular, tasted heavily processed—similar to canned hot dogs—and overall, the food felt unappetizing and poorly prepared. Even the drinks were disappointing—they tasted like watered-down concentrated juice, with excessive dilution that made them flavorless. Customer service was also lacking. Most staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, which made the experience even more frustrating. The only positive interactions we had were with the receptionist and a supervisor who genuinely tried to assist us. The one highlight of the property is the view—it’s absolutely beautiful, and we truly wanted to enjoy our stay. However, the overall conditions and service made that impossible. Fortunately, we contacted Expedia, and they were able to relocate us to another resort. Overall, I would not recommend staying here based on our experience.
