St. Louis Soulard Farmer's Market Hotels

"The elevators are tiny, and felt like with just two people and luggage it was tight, and they made noises that could create worry in the future. Upon getting to the room, the door wouldn’t open unless we like put force behind it. And then when leaving we had to physically pull the door shut behind us. The WiFi was meh. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room itself felt kind of small. The toilet took its time refilling with water and then would run for hours. The remotes for the televisions sucked, and you had to practically smash the buttons to do anything. "

"The hotel and the view itself are wonderful, but the bar hopping until after 2:30 and the drag races that occurred on the main strip outside of our room made for very little sleep. Also, important to note there are only 3 elevators in the east tower and there is a wait during certain hours due to high volumes of people going to rooms/rooftop bar."

"Excellent location for the ballpark, friendly staff during the busy check-in time as well. Staff ensured we were not disturbed by a large wedding party that had been celebrating through the weekend too which was thoughtful on their end."

"The staff was excellent, I want to point that out first and foremost from the valet to the front desk. However, the bed was hard, the pillows were harder, and the A/C unit made a loud knocking/clicking noise for 20 seconds every time the unit cycled. Also, the phone in the room did not work, so I couldn’t call the front desk, etc. I was exhausted when I got back to the room at 11PM (me and my wife were there for a sports event) and didn’t have the energy to address the phone/super loud knocking from the A/C. We slept a very restless night, checked out and went home. For $252.00 for one night I expect a lot more comfort and amenities in a room. Unfortunately next time we are in St. Louis for the night or a few days (which is 4-5 times a year) we will not be staying here. I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone with a price tag that high, the quality was of a super 8 with the price tag of a four seasons."

"this could be an amazing place if they would do a deep clean on the floors and keep it up-and fix the broken blinds. There were very little supplies in the kitchen- no salt or pepper or oil. no dish towels. I to ask for toilet paper and to get the bathroom door fixed, however the host promptly responded and had someone come fix- so that was nice. Stairs are very steep to get up to the apartment. Place just needs some tlc. "
