「We stayed here on the 19th May ready to talk the shuttle to France. The staff were friendly proffesi and answered any questions. The room was lovely very clean everything you would expect with real comfy beds. The hotel is in the perfect location to walk along the sea front or have a stroll through the gardens at the back. Would highly recommend this hotel and stay again.」

「No pool due to maintenance which was a real upset. Rooms were basic, clean and no issues for the price. We had ordered connecting rooms and had to ask for the door to be opened between them. Breakfast was good only negative was the coffee machine didn’t warm the milk. We tried 3 times and it was always the same. Good for one or two nights and free parking was a bonus.」

「This is easily the best hotel in Rye, and, in my opinion, one of the best I have had the pleasure of staying at. Like many hotels the food was excellent, the service was excellent the rooms are beautifully decorated and the simple things like having a decent shower or bar are so well catered for. What sets this apart is the vibe of the place, you can feel the history, You can feel the culture that has been created in the team, who really understand customer service. 「I LOVED this place! A proper British pub, that was so cozy it felt like home. I absolutely loved the towel warmers ( we don't have that in the US) and the Ily coffee in the room with a French press and cookies. Was an extra cherry on top! The bed was so comfortable and felt like I was in the countryside tucked away from the world. I absolutely loved it and would 10/10 come back and stay again! Not to mention the breakfast was absolutely fabulous! Thank you for such a great stay!」

「House keeping was good. Room was small and pretty tired. Bath hand basin sink plug broken and toilet seat would not stay up. Staff polite but not very customer focused. Just did their job! Breakfast was disappointing. Advertised as ‘continental’ but fell short of what we were expecting. Parking good. Plenty of space」
