「Since the hotel is 400 years old, it had a lot of charm. (things like slanted floors and the room call bells on the wall in the foyer) The location was perfect for exploring the waterfront and catching ferries. The only issue, which it can’t do anything about, is the lack of an elevator and we stayed on the top floor. The very last flight upstairs was curved and very narrow, but a couple of very friendly staff members helped us with our luggage.」

「My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The environment around the hotel did not feel pleasant, with many homeless people around the area. I understand that homelessness is a serious issue, but as a paying hotel guest, I expected the surroundings and overall atmosphere of the hotel to feel more welcoming and secure. The service was also very poor. The following morning, my wife and I went for breakfast and there was nobody available to assist us for more than five minutes....
