“This accommodation is a private room adjacent to the owner’s home. The location is excellent for exploring Raiatea and joining local tours. A good small grocery store is just steps away, and a large Carrefour in town is within biking distance. The room is comfortable, and the bathroom feels new, clean, and fresh. Outside, there is a seating area with chairs, a table, and patio umbrellas, offering views of the lush green mountains. A few friendly and adorable dogs stop by from time to time,……

“We booked the family suite, but after seeing it, and after the bad start to our stay, we left. Check in time was identified as 1pm. we arrived at 230, and were told that it wasnt ready. So, we sat for about half an hour. The family suite appeared to actually be a storage room, because it had a bunch of junk stored in it off to the side including an old mattress that wasnt being used, and a bunch of unhung paintings. “Everything at the Heritage Guest House was perfect! We stayed at n the family room and it was equipped with everything we needed and more! Most importantly, the beds, pillows and bedding were top notch! The kitchen and bathroom were both spacious! Our hosts Vicash and Arti were absolutely wonderful and hospitable! We enjoyed morning coffee and great conversations with them in the morning! They took us for a drive part way around the island and shared so much information about the island! We……

“Overall, I thought it was nice and comfortable. Google maps originally took me to the wrong place, but we got it sorted out. They seem to have a fair number of animals - besides a couple of dogs and a cat, I definitely heard a rooster as well. So it could be a little disruptive overnight when you're trying to sleep if you're not used to that sort of thing.”
