“Wonderful house, well equipped and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed cooking out downstairs and visiting on the front porch. Would be great for fisherman to come down and take no fisherman as well.”

“Enjoyed the inside and outdoor atmosphere so much. We had a fire in the fire pit while we played music at night. Cabin was so close to Avery Island and Jefferson Island, the places we wanted to visit. Weather was perfect the entire time we were there. Explored small towns around us and went into New Iberia as well. One suggestion would be to have recliners or ottomans for us seniors! Loved it overall!”

“We chose this property because it had enough bedrooms for every couple to have their own space. When we walked in we were surprised. The property is even nicer in person than it was on the photos! Would definitely rent again if we needed a large space in the Lake Charles area!!”

“We came in to town for a wedding. The place was extremely clean and the quality of the space was better than the listing pictures. It was near a good variety of restaurants and things to do. The only down side was that downtown Lafayette can be loud at night. If you plan on going to bed early this may not be the spot for you. If you enjoy being close to night life, this is the perfect stay for you!”

“This property was located on the canal with access to fishing and crabbing. Nice porch area with a swing, bench and picnic area. Location was great! Nice accommodations and host was quick to respond with any answers to questions. Will rent again in the future!”

“The property was very beautiful. The restaurant on site was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pillows were very soft and did not like them. Also when we went swimming we noticed there was a big group that was not staying at the hotel.”
