「It was an incredibly unique experience with amazing views of the country side and the midnight sunset! The igloo was plenty spacious for two people and more private than you think. Easily cooled or heated, but be careful of the morning sun heating the igloo up! Highly recommend you give it a try!」

「This truly is a “luxury modern home.” It has all the amenities in a clean, comfortable, stylish home set on a hillside with beautiful views.This house is the place to stay! The hosts are incredible! We had a complication due to a flight cancellation and they were so accommodating. They were kind, understanding, and quick to respond and help us find a solution. They saved us from being homelessness for a night! Really grateful!」

「We had a wonderful stay. The photos provided by the e host accurately reflect how it actually is. The home is super clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare and cook meals. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. I highly recommend!」

「I stayed here for a few days in March 2025, Petra made the stay very home-like. The property is in the country and is a short drive from Selfoss. It has an amazing view of the countryside as well. 」

「This unique building has very high quality furniture, bedding, and towels. Even robes are provided. The hot tub in the back yard is a highlight. Lots of windows let in the epic Icelandic landscape. When the wind pics up you feel cozy and comfortable with every convenience. There is a full sized washer AND dryer (great for families). The gas station is a 10 minute walk away and has all the basic groceries you need along with a small diner. If you are in the area, this is a great place to stay. 」

「While not the flashiest or most "Instagramable" stay of our trip, it was my favorite. Felt really homey, so close to the sweet sheep, very spacious, and the hot tub was incredible. Highly recommend!」

「Helga was so nice and couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed here as a stop off to head south to Vik and skaftafell glacier hike and it was perfect. Cozy anecdote comfortable, Helga even gave us some lovely chocolate cake 😊」
