「This was our first trip to Iceland, and our stay at Smalaskali was perfect! Location was great - far enough away to feel secluded, but close to Selfoss for shopping and dining, and close enough to make for a great base camp for excursions to the Golden Circle, Reykjavik, and a South Coast exploring drive. Cottage was well equipped, and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.Laundry facilities were welcomed - note that it is a washer and not a washer/dryer combo, but...

「Hrafn was an excellent host. His responses were quick. He was very accommodating. The cottage is perfect. Comfy beds, pillows and sofa. We love the kitchen. It is very well stocked. The magic was the hot tub amd sauna, which were so relaxing. We listened to the birds and watched them with delight. We would highly recommend this cottage and we would definitely stay here again.」

「It was a perfect place to jump off of for activities on the South Coast, Reykjanes Peninsula, Golden Circle, Vik, Reykjavik and Keflavik. It was a roomy and comfortable home. The kitchen is a bit small for multiple people to be cooking at the same time, but that wasn't a problem.」

「We are incredibly grateful to our host for going above and beyond during our stay. With the yellow and orange weather warnings on our first few days of the stay in Iceland, we were quite stressed and unsure of what to do—but Kristinn kindly offered us a safe and comfortable place to stay, which meant so much to us.
