Reception taking photos of credit cards with personal phones is risky and not standard. b) after asking 3 times with 2 different reception staff to get the heater turned off in my room (roasting) as the controls did not work on the radiator. 「Good hotel and comfortable bed. Had cancel the second night as the hotel was closed. Access for an 81 year old was very difficult. Lots of stairs to manage. The very cold weather made it even more difficult. The manager was very good and helpful. We hope to get a refund for the second night. The location was excellent and the pub was very quirky and quite special. 」
