"This is a great hotel. We were in Bath for one night so it was a quick stay but really glad we chose the Apex. It was clean, modern, and the service was great. I’d definitely return."

"We found the interior design to be inventive and beautiful. The hotel is a joining of 12 (?) different houses and getting around can feel like one is in a maze. As an older couple, they gave us a room we could get to, avoiding stairs and gave us a great view. The modern bathroom had to be a bit cramped to accommodate the many mergings of houses. We would have liked to have had tissues and more hanging space in the room. The bed was way too hard for one of us. They brought up a duvet to top the sheets, which helped. The breakfast was fabulous. The Beau restaurant served good food with accommodations for a wide variety of dietary needs. The staff (all of them) went above and beyond to serve us with cheery attitudes. The hotel is well located. We highly recommend the hotel if a 4 star is a good option for you."

"From entering the building to leaving the building, I have to say the staff were very helpful polite and explain everything clearly. The breakfast was very good. The parking was good, the only thing I would say about the parking is that if you have paid for a parking place, you should be guaranteed that place, as long as you are staying there. The only other thing I would say that the building could do with an upgrade, but maybe this would take away the charm of the building. But over all a very delightful stay and would return in the future."

"So many of the staff we encountered were wonderfully welcoming and seemed happy to have us there. The food was of the utmost quality and even after a week, we hadn't tried all the breakfast options. On a map, the hotel appears not to be in the centre of things, and, while this is true, I was glad of it. It was usually no more than a 5-10 minute walk to anything that interested us but, beyond that, this meant we slept on a very quiet street with no exterior noise permeating the walls. This is an old mansion (actually, two that were joined, seamlessly) and so I think if I had to say there was anything lacking, it was a communal lobby room. While there was a bar and a restaurant, they were often used by paying customers so I didn't feel I should take up space by reading. No matter, our room (#17) had a great settee as well as a desk area for writing."
