「Lovely, traditional country house hotel.」

「I paid higher price for a room with a private bathroom, unfortunately the private bathroom is not in my room, my wife and I had to walk across the public landing, passing another room door, to get to the “private bathroom”. There are small insects too, we don’t mind the spiders, but the flies are quite annoying.」

「Really comfortable B&B, the owners were really hospitable and the breakfasts were prob one of the best I have ever had. Dog friendly and super cute that they provided dog treats in the room. Only small thing is the jacuzzi was wood fired and they needed 6 hours notice if you wanted to use it and felt there was a bit of reluctance around asking to use it. 」

「We had a lovely stay at this pretty and comfortable pod. Jean was very helpful and friendly and pod was very well equipped and laid out. No wasted space but plenty of room. Great shower, oodles of hot water and plenty of power points. Wi-Fi excellent and plenty of cosy touches. Thoroughly recommend for those who want a property that’s tucked away but the host is at the farmhouse nearby. We will be back! Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay and cuddles with your dogs!」

「This is a lovely place to stay. The staff are very attentive and friendly, breakfast was excellent with good quality products…. I didn’t have dinner at the hotel, but the menu is varied and the people I saw eating seemed to be enjoying themselves. It’s less than 10 mins from the A38, through country lanes which makes you feel as if you are a lot farther from the hustle and bustle than you actually are…..a gem of a find and I will be back….」
