"Easy to find and ample parking. 77Warm welcome from Ron. Room size good, basic. Beds comfy. Coffee/tea etc. TV. Large window with view of the gardens. Breakfast was as you'd expect, with choice of hot food. Served promptly. Freshly cooked and hot. Location convenient for the town and beach."

"The overall stay was very good. We liked the easy check in process and the property was exactly as described. Everything was cleaned to an excellent standard and ready for us to move in temporarily. The beach view was extensive in both directions and the balcony was definitely a unique selling point. Access to the balcony was a bit challenging with a very high step and closing the door required a certain knack which we acquired quite quickly.We knew that the water pressure was poor from the hot taps but this had little effect on our stay.The check out process was equally easy and we really enjoyed our stay.Well done Neil."

"The studio was spacious and minimalist but that is my ideal. It was very comfortable and I had all I needed, except I would have liked a teapot and cafetiere too. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was wonderful. The apartment block was also in a very good, convenient location for trains and buses and exploring Hastings. I really enjoyed my stay. I didn't like having to wait until 3 hours before check-in for the key codes. It is also expected that you take all your rubbish down to the basement before check-out. I had no WiFi on my last day there which was annoying but I think it was a technical issue and they can happen. All in all, I would definitely recommend booking one of these studio apartments."

"Excellent value for money. We stayed in Room 12 which is really quirky and loved the antique furnishings and the layout of the room which is incredibly spacious, but the bed is really uncomfortable on the left hand side particularly. It has what is best described as a crater at the top of it. There are 4 pillows each provided, so I literally filled the huge dip that is in the mattress with a couple of the pillows and I was then able to sleep. It's such a shame as the room is lovely and has everything you need in a great location. The bedding is immaculate and so are the towels. There is no outside noise in this room, which doesn't have a view, but ear plugs are provided should you need them. Can't comment on the food as we never once saw the bistro open. It is quite a weird experience as we had anticipated checking in and enjoying a glass of wine there, but it is literally just a person checking you in, despite it being a bistro set up on the ground floor. We thought we would have breakfast on the last day, but there was no mention of it on offer, even to pay for, but there are plenty of places outside to eat. Great location and as long as you have no mobility issues (no lift) then I'd recommend it."
