"Overall, a great hotel in a great location. The hotel was welcoming, modern and nicely decorated, with free coffee and water at reception. The area felt safe and it was only a short walk from Olympia, with a Tesco Extra nearby.
A pre-check-in is required after booking, along with ID and a credit card at check-in for deposit coverage.
We stayed in Room 507, a double room on the entrance floor. As is often the case in London, it was fairly small and could feel cramped with luggage.
Our main issue was privacy. The outdoor terrace, as well as the neighbouring terrace, overlooks the room, but there was no privacy film or net curtain. The large curtains helped, but were difficult to close fully due to the size and height of the window. Some additional privacy measures would make a big difference.
The hotel has a strict quiet period from 10pm–8am. While understandable, we were constantly conscious of whether we were being too loud, particularly watching TV, which made us slightly anxious about disturbing others.
The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Both the room and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom was modern, although the inward-opening shower door was awkward, and the shower itself felt restrictive.
TV screen mirroring worked but was temperamental. A fridge, kettle, tea/coffee facilities were provided, although USB charging was only available on one side of the bed.
Also, refillable shower wash & soap would be a more sustainable alternative than travel bottles"
