“Great cottage right on the bay, very relaxing.”

“The cottage was perfect for 2 for an anniversary get away. Convenient to Williamsburg/Jamestown/Yorktown without being congested. A number of restaurants in the area. Watching the sunset from the river dock was beautiful every night. Although we only ate breakfast there, the kitchen seemed to be equipped with most everything you need. Although we had no problem, the narrow steep stairs to the bedroom could be an issue for someone with mobility issues. Overall a very nice place to stay if……

“Great location and charm”

“We had a wonderful time! Everything was fabulous and the house had everything we needed. The view was spectacular and we loved seeing all the wildlife. ”

“Great spot for a family trip to Williamsburg. Super close to Water Country and Busch Gardens. Beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend.”

“Our stay was wonderful! Husband had a great time fishing :) Owners are quick to respond, very helpful and extremely kind. Thank you so much!!”

“A lovely cottage right in Yorktown that our family of 4 enjoyed staying in very much. The main living area is beautiful and the beds are very comfortable, with the twin bedroom being downstairs and main double upstairs. The kitchen was well equipped, if a little small for two to work comfortably! But it had everything we needed for our stay, the beach is a short walk and we found the history of the area, all within a short distance of the cottage, to be fascinating.”

“kitchen and coffee was great. lovely atmosphere. bed could have been more comfortable. plenty of towels”

“Charming little cottage. The kitchen was beautiful aesthetically the house was very cute inside with upgrades and a mid century style.. The host was very communicative over text she also has like a “business partner” that lives feet away from the property who keeps an eye out for her.Overall I just wanted a long weekend away with my family to kinda get together and relax in front of the river. So it was nice although it was raining and overcast the whole time I was there, but it was still a nice……

“What a hidden gem of a place! A gorgeous river cottage overlooking the St James River. Grateful to be immersed in a natural rural atmosphere and also so close to many things to do both at the cottage and near Williamsburg. We swam, walked the beach, kayaked and fished! A magical sun rising over the StJames River takes one’s breathe away! I understand why people come back here. It’s a very special place. Reminds me of being on a lake which reminds me of my childhood! The Ferry is close, free……

“This is an older home which has been significantly renovated. Appliances and fixtures are new and work well. The washer dryer combination operates as expected, but seems to be installed in a crooked manner. There are some minor things that I would suggest such as putting clocks and trash cans in all the bedrooms. There are no televisions in the bedrooms. The only television is located in the living room. The remote that was provided doesn’t function very well. It seemed to lag every time a……

“We would definitely stay here again! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The amenities were fantastic and the staff were all kind and helpful! They offered discounted tickets for area attractions as well.”

“"Bee Humble" was a great place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable. My husband has degenerative back issues, and he slept like a baby. The beds were not too soft or hard...like Little Red Riding Hood the beds were "just right". A larger bathroom would have been nice, but we understand it is an older home. We had a wonderful trip thanks to "Bee Humble".”

“We had a great experience, I would definitely stay there again.”
