「We just loved every minute of staying here. The house/ property is so full of charm. You absolutely cannot beat being so close to the attractions all around Williamsburg. After touring and doing activities, it was so nice to settle down at the beach! We loved sitting on the screen porch looking out at the water, and taking in all of the beautiful views. 「The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner...

「We had a fantastic stay! The house is gorgeous and we loved spending our evenings on and along the river. There was lots of space for our group of 8 to have their own rooms and bathrooms. Using the ferry (which was only 5 minutes away) to get across to Jamestown and Williamsburg was easy and greatly enjoyed by my children. We hope to stay here again in the future!」

「Our entire family (4 total) stayed in (2) separate 3- bedroom suites. We requested for them to be side by side (noting we had a handicap senior as well as small children), which was fulfilled. The accommodations were nice, clean, and easy accessibility to pool, restaurant, and location ideal for tourist attractions without busyness. Definitely would consider staying at this facility again (though not interested in investing timeshare:). 」
