“It was a great experience”

“We spent 3 days there with extended family. It was part of a celebration for my mom’s 90th birthday. All the staff members were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were great. One of the rooms we had was a handicapped accessible room. It worked out very well. Prices were reasonable and the location was great. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taos.”

“The Inn is a nice older property in a great location in Taos, but it is in need of TLC. Our room itself was fine, but top came off one small table and the shower was designed in such a way that we soaked the mat each time. More importantly, our reception at the hotel was lukewarm; my call to the front desk to request help with the TV went unanswered; and, on my subsequent trip to the front desk, I was told that they didn't know how to work the new TV system. “Staff is doing their best and we had good service in the restaurant for breakfast. Management is not seen anywhere and leave front line staff to address all issues. We received a text at 2 pm indicating the restaurant, lounge/bar and room service would not be available for the remainder of the day. We had planned to get a small bite before a tasting trip at 5pm knowing almost all restaurants within the community would be closed at the end of our trip. This was disappointing. The property……

“Friendly team and very responsive. Rooms are thoughtful amd the Aesop products were like beimg at home. Comfy bed. Plunge pool amd sauna were much appreciated. High recommendations all around. ”

“No elevator so anyone who has difficulty with stairs needs to request a main floor room. Building is adjacent to a delightful stream. Patio tables and chairs are available at ground level next to the stream and on the rear main floor patio. Front desk rep was very friendly and helpful. The room was rather dated and needs much better lighting. Bathroom fan and heating units were noisy. Good quality and size of towels. Keurig coffee maker is appreciated. Bed was comfy with good pillow selection……

“Rooms are extra big and fully stocked. Scenery inside and outside was beautiful. The cafe inside was a little expensive with their coffee $6 for medium size. Be prepared it can get hot in the rooms and not all of them or most of them dont have air conditioning. You pay extra for that.”

“We had an amazing stay at Desert Flower Hotel! We stayed in Room 7, which included a private hot tub that was perfect for soaking in and relaxing after our adventurous days exploring Taos. One of the highlights of our stay was the homemade breakfast each morning. Everything was delicious, especially the homemade blueberry muffins. “Our stay was enjoyable and the property offered an amazing view. The room was clean and the bed sheets were fresh, which we really appreciated. The only concern we had was that when we opened the drawers, there was noticeable dust inside. This caused us to cough and sneeze a couple of times, though it settled quickly afterward. Aside from that, everything else was comfortable and we had a good experience overall.”
