House was delightful. Everything as advertised and more. Porch was delightful. We ate dinner there every night. Kitchen was well stocked. House was very clean. To enter home required only two steps. Plenty of parking. Baths were roomy and well presented. Would stay again. Enjoyed visiting Landrum.
We are a group of 7 women (in our 60's) who have known each other since kindergarten. Once a year we try to get together for a few days to reconnect. This year we chose this beautiful property, and were not disappointed. We enjoyed eating some meals on the covered deck while enjoying the views of the mountains. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. We would definitely stay again.
This property was exactly what we needed after long days on the golf course. The location was perfect for our needs and spacious enough to spread out without feeling like we were on top of each other all the time. Would definitely book again when we’re up this way again!
We went up with our families and beloved dog and had a wonderful time. The rooms are very spacious and the interior is welcoming. We ate many meals out on the back porch looking out. The pictures of the house do not do it justice. Downstairs is essentially a whole other apartment with a full kitchen. The location is great if you want to be secluded with most places being about a 20 minute drive. Beautiful scenery in the neighborhood. The host was wonderful and very quick to respond. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this location!
For most of our stay only my husband and I were present. This is a huge house but we never felt out of place in all the space. Over the weekend 15 ladies from my church came for a spiritual retreat. My husband escaped back to Columbia the ladies all had appropriate accommodations; no one was crowed or walking all over each other. The house and appointments are very upscale and the views from the deck and veranda are peaceful with humming birds flitting back and forth and deer grazing at the edge of the forest . The main great room kitchen and dining open area made it possible got all 16 to gather together for study and worship. We have a retreat every year and this place was outstanding!
This wasn't just a house; it was a revelation. From the moment we pulled up, it was clear that this wasn't merely a rental; it was a meticulously curated sanctuary. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by how utterly gorgeous and impeccably clean everything was. The phrase "pictures don't do it justice" is often overused, but here, it's an undeniable truth. The online photos, while lovely, couldn't capture the subtle warmth of the ambient lighting, the quality of the furnishings, or the sheer serenity that permeated every room. Every detail, from the gleaming countertops to the inviting blankets, spoke of care and thoughtful design. It didn't just meet expectations; it surpassed them with effortless grace. In fact, it was clear from the moment we arrived: this was quite literally the best house on the block, standing out as a beacon of comfort and style. But the true masterpiece lay just beyond the living room window. The view – oh, the view! – was utterly breathtaking. Sweeping vistas of verdant peaks while the crisp mountain air filled my lungs. It was a panorama that demanded quiet contemplation, a natural painting that changed with every shift of light. Every sunrise painted a new masterpiece across the sky, every sunset dyed the clouds in hues I'd only seen in art. This wasn't just a backdrop; it was an integral part of
