“We just returned from our week stay at VML. The rustic cabin is located on beautiful property with a creek flowing through it. Relaxing in the mornings sitting on the covered porch drinking a coffe and listening to the water was what we needed. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Even though there was no air conditioning, the celling fans kept us cool at night. Would highly recommend this property. Allan was a great host. Looking forward to our next stay at VML. ”

“Driving up and walking into the cabin are like taking a walk back in time or down memory lane. This cabin and property were the detox I needed from my busy life. “I’m still in awe at what an amazing place and this honestly was one of those places that was very hard to leave. Just so beautiful and the owners are some of the kindest and most welcoming people you will ever meet (if you are lucky enough to have them in town during your visit)! “This place is awesome !!! Me and my girlfriend just spent 5 day on the river and we didnt want to go home. The host Roy greeted us and was ultra helpful, he also takes care of the property which was fully equipped with everything, spare towels, napkins, coffee, TP...... He reached out to help but also left us alone (HUGE). We went to Blue Hole waterfall-freezing but you have to go in, the Wilbur Dam-very cool, Worlds Smallest Tunnel in Shady Valley-silly fun, the Cherokee Natl Forest- breath……

“We had a really great time at this property, it was exactly as we expected and more. The listing description is perfect, it’s on top of a mountain, with steep curvy road to get there. You need to come prepared food wise as it’s a good 20 mins or so to a grocery store. But so well worth it. The views are incredible !! You just can’t say it or look at them enough. The house is beautiful, nicely decorated with games and a pool table along with a fire pit and hot tub to keep you busy while at home.……

“This property looks brand new. It was extraordinarily clean and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need - including firewood and fishing rods! We had four adults in our party and the place was very comfortable. One thing to note, the bed in the primary bedroom is VERY tall and may be a challenge for anyone with a physical disability. That said, there are two twin beds in the other bedroom that are normal height.”

“This was the perfect cabin for us! Decent view from the patio and hot tub. I would suggest window shades on the back patio for the hot tube due to neighbors directly behind the cabin. The cabin was the right size for two people, and with all the amenities you would need at home. The property manager answered my calls immediately when I needed and had an issue resolved the same day.
