“We had a lovely stay at the property, the staff were so friendly and check in was easy. The room its self was clean, bed was comfy and the shower pressure was amazing. We had our dinner at the pub which was delish and then our breakfast in the morning was amazing as well. Amazing stay would definitely reccomend”
“Fantastic stay at the Allanton inn. Bar and restaurant is great, especially having a drink in the large outdoor area. Staff are very helpful and extremely friendly. The bed in our room was a little hard but it this is a minor issue for such a great stay. ”
“Lovely beach opposite and charming understated town, so nice seeing the grey seals and eider ducks in the harbour. Close to the stunning St Abbs village and nature reserve with beautiful cliff top walks. No issues with the property, easy to book, clean, comfortable, nice room and a lovely breakfast served by friendly staff. Will stay here again next time in area. Highly recommend it.”

“Situated in the center of Kelso the Queens Head is in the perfect location for the area attractions.
The staff were attentive, solicitous and helpful. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was substantial and delicious. Dinner in the bar was very noisy but the staff obliged me moving to a quieter table. ”
“We found it hard to find the entrance when first arriving. Reception/ restaurant area is warm & inviting.
Our room was a good size, paying similar to hotel properties, i would expect towels to be included in the room price. Other than that it it was a nice stay. Close to town. ”
