“We were expecting a well maintained, boutique hotel, sadly it was not. Although refurbished in Nov 2014, the state of our room (1) lacked maintenance. Although each was relatively minor, when 10 issues are present, then the result is a disappointment. I relayed these to the receptionist on departure, and she seemed reluctant to seriously acknowledge the problem. This summed up the general feeling of laissez-faire.”

“We were very lucky to get a parking spot as it was just on the road at the front of the building.
Breakfast was excellent.
Unfortunately the en-suite consisted of toilet and shower only - the wash hand basin was in the bedroom where there were no towel rails.
The gentleman who greeted us was excellent as he had to do everything including cooking the breakfasts due to his manager being unwell.”

“Wonderful welcome from the lovely receptionist and nice restaurant service at dinner.
Beautiful, comfortable and clean room with great additions like coffee machine, tasty cookies, fan and lovely toiletries.
Our only complaint was that breakfast was a bit slapdash with items like bread & orange juice having run out, wrong drinks brought out and a long wait for food.”
