“Our plane was cancelled and we informed Expedia that we would arrive one day later. Eventually we got refund of one night, and early check-in for free, which is very good. The apartment is clean and spacious, and there are sufficient washing tablets provided for washing machine and dish washer. There are also sufficient utensils for cooking. The location is good as it is only a few minute walk to the shopping mall. I hope that the window blinds can be changed to keep the bedrooms dark during……

“Great hotel in a perfect location overlooking the river. I had a comfortable stay - the room and especially the bathroom were very small (I struggled to close the bathroom door without squeezing behind it) The breakfast was very nice and made to order with quality ingredients. Check in was good but the reception staff should inform guests that the key ring for the hotel room also acts as a fob for the hotel gates. I went walking and couldn’t access the hotel from the pedestrian gates from the……

“It is very centrally located. 5 minutes walk from a large shopping mall and is just a throw stone distance from a beautiful park. Staff are very friendly and helpful.”

“Lovely stay at The Crown, really friendly staff the rooms are separate from the pub so nice and quiet, really comfortable bed all the amenities were superb. We didn’t eat there in the evening as had a party to go to but 14 of us had the carvery on the Sunday and I can honestly say it’s the best carvery I’ve had. Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again, just need my friend to have another party.”

“Spent two great days at this B&B. It's off the main highways in a small village environment. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We had a warm welcome from the staff, who were helpful, friendly and made our stay relaxing. The room was large, clean and stocked with tea, coffee and water. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast bun was amazing, the bacon and sausage tasted great. We had an evening meal which was also prepared and cooked well. “We loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations.”
