“Hotel was absolutely lovely, however the service in the restaurant was very slow and staff were just hanging about chatting and ignored us for quite a while to bring menus, take the order, clean plates etc. They automatically add on the service to the bill.
We had 2 cookies and 2 soft drinks on arrival £17! An excessive mark up!”

“This was one of the prettiest places we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and personalised, wonderfully renovated pub and hotel rooms. Staff were really friendly and great pub to enjoy a drink or eat in. Comfortable, quiet and extremely relaxing with added bonus of bath and sash windows which opened to look out at the front of the property. PERFECT!!”

“Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. ”
